Welcome to Kalunga Shilpanchal Bidyalaya

Kalunga Shilpanchal Bidyalaya operated since 1992, is situated in Kalunga Industrial Estate, near Rourkela (Odisha). School, having its own campus of about 1 Acre in primarily catering to children from the under privileged section of society. School has recognition from District Education Office, Sundergarh for class I to IX in Odia medium. This year academic session 2025-26 we got the permission to start class –IX from the Directorate of Secondary Education, Odisha. Next year session will be eligible for class – X. Currently school has students (boys and girls) strength of more than 200. Dedicated Team of Teachers led by Head master drive for overall development of students.

Principal's Message

Kalunga Shilpanchal Bidyalaya provides more or less free education for the under privileged factory workers children in Kalunga. Here we are serving the society by giving quality education and physical development of a child by nurturing the talent of the student. The infrastructure and the teaching methodology at school go on evolving to keep pace with the ongoing innovation.

As a Head Master of KS Bidyalaya, I feel honored and privileged to be part of an educational institution. I do believe in upholding high standards and improve the educational process using team strategies for expending student achievements. All the staff members of KS Bidyalaya are valued and appreciated for their efforts.
